Whitby residents Bill and Kathy Terry love hockey! In the 1980s, Bill Terry played hockey at Michigan Tech University while earning a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He was with the Minnesota North Stars' farm team in Kalamazoo, Michigan and played six years on two city teams in Switzerland. He met Kathy at Michigan Technological University, while she was pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. In the 1990's, they returned to Ontario and Play It Again Sports was a perfect match. It was natural for them to open a hockey-oriented sporting goods stores. Their love for hockey also inspired their three teenage children; Billy, Kelly and Scott who all play elite hockey today.

They are now celebrating 15 successful years at their Whitby store and 10 years at the Courtice store. With Durham Region being an avid sporting community, the Terry's were visionaries, recognizing that affordable used sporting goods would appeal to the community.

Over the years, they began carrying new equipment for athletes who want the latest and greatest technologies and the widest product selection. They get it affordably through the mass-buying power of their 500-store international chain. Today, new and used hockey sticks, pads, protective gear, goalie gear, skates and more account for 70% of store sales.

Come out to one of the stores and see what the Terry's and staff have to offer!
